Candy Boxes – Galentine’s Day
If you’re looking for a cute gifting idea for a Galentine’s Day party or to give a loved one, these candy treat boxes couldn’t be sweeter or should I say SOUR! They’re so fun to assemble together and you can even customize individual boxes to include each person’s favorite candy or chocolate. It’s the best way to say I LOVE YOU!

The Candy
Now for the most important part, the CANDY! I am a huge candy person and have always been since a little kid so I consider myself an expert in this field. I have a few spots that are my favorite to buy candy in bulk for something like this. Let’s get into it!
- Sockerbit: This Scandinavian shop in Los Angeles is my favorite place to buy candy. You can also order online to get it shipped and they label everything without gelatin, vegan, vegetarian, etc. They also have Valentine candy releases.
- Amazon: I love amazon for buying in bulk and when I need something quick with prime shipping. They sell sour lips which are my favorite.
- CandyNation: This is the place to find any type of candy you can possibly want and you buy it by the pound. Shipping can get pricey but the candy per pound is the cheapest I’ve seen across anywhere online.
- BonBon: This is also another Scandinavian spot based in NYC. If you are local, you can go shop in person or order online. I love the sour skulls and sour peach lips most.

Where to Buy the Boxes
For this project, you can use any box you like. I purchased mine from Amazon in a set of 12 and they come in the brown color and also black. They are super easy to assemble, they take about a minute or less to put each one together. The boxes come with dividers to split into six compartments and a display window to slide on. I highly recommend them!
I also stopped by Target and World Market for some cute Valentine’s Day special candy they were selling in store.

What Else Can I Add?
The box also doesn’t have to be all candy. Here are some other ideas of things you can add inside:
- chocolate covered pretzels
- heart shaped peanut butter cups
- pink, white, and red m & ms
- French macaroons
- mini oreos

Decorating the Boxes
To decorate the boxes, I went to Michaels! They have the cutest decor in season for Valentine’s Day right now.
At Michaels, I purchased the ribbon to wrap and tie a bow around the box. They have tens of designs you can pick from with hearts, text, and of course the red and pink colors. They also had paper clips with hearts on them that I used to attach name tags. The name tags were also purchased from Michaels and come with a string on them but I took it off.
Lastly, for the white card that says Happy Valentine’s Day, I just designed it on Canva. They have so many cute designs already or you can design your own. Then just print it out, cut, and attach to the box and that’s it!

This is my first time so I’m excited to be trying these
