Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt Cups
If you like peanut butter cups, you’re going to fall in love with the frozen yogurt version of the famous chocolate! Picture three layers: rich velvety chocolate, creamy sweet frozen yogurt, and nutty roasted peanut butter. They’re packed with protein and the perfect healthy sweet treat to meal prep and enjoy right out of the freezer!

I’ve been seeing everyone make frozen yogurt bark on TikTok and although I’ve tried it and like it, I don’t love it. But I started thinking about what other easy frozen treats I could make with yogurt and came up with the frozen yogurt version of peanut butter cups. They were absolutely incredible and might be my new favorite dessert to enjoy! Best part is they couldn’t be any easier to make.
The Chocolate Layer
To make the peanut butter cups, you will first need a cupcake tin and cupcake liners. Fill the tray with the cupcake liners.
For the chocolate layer, feel free to use your favorite chocolate. It can be milk chocolate, semi-sweet, dark chocolate, or even white chocolate! Just melt in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl in 30 second intervals until completely melted. Make sure to stir the chocolate between each interval until smooth and melted.
Add about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the melted chocolate to the bottom of each cupcake liner. Tap the tray a few times to smooth the chocolate layer out and then transfer to the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes until the chocolate is set.

The Frozen Yogurt Layer
For the frozen yogurt layer, combine vanilla greek yogurt and honey in a bowl until smooth and thick. Feel free to sweeten it with honey as little or as much as you’d like. You can also use honey flavored greek yogurt or plain greek yoghurt and add both vanilla extract and honey to it.
Take out the tray from the freezer and a few spoonfuls of the yogurt on top of the chocolate so each cupcake is about 2/3 of the way full now. We want to leave some space for the peanut butter on top. Bang the tray a few times to flatten out the yogurt or use a spoon to level it out. Pop back into the freezer for 25 to 30 minutes until the yogurt is a bit frozen. It doesn’t have to be completely set.
The Peanut Butter Layer
Finally, it’s time for the peanut butter layer! Use your favorite peanut butter. It can be creamy, crunchy, sweetened, not sweetened. Just whatever you like. Add a layer on top of the yogurt so the cupcake liner is now filled.
Pop in the freezer one last time for about an hour until all the layers are set. For a sweet and salty take, you can add a sprinkle of sea salt on top. Keep in the freezer to enjoy throughout the week in an air tight container. They’re best enjoyed out of the freezer after defrosting for about 10 minutes so the yoghurt is creamy like ice cream rather than icy.
