Cinnamon Roll Overnight Oats

Everyone’s favorite spiral ooey gooey dessert turned into a delicious, creamy, and hearty breakfast! These cinnamon roll inspired overnight oats take less than 10 minutes to make and are perfect for a cozy breakfast that you can grab and go.

HOW TO MAKE IT

If you’re always in a rush and end up skipping breakfast as a result, you definitely have to try making overnight oats. If you couldn’t tell by the name yet, they’re prepped the night before so that in the morning, you can just grab and go. It is possibly the easiest breakfast you’ll ever make with only ten minutes of prep needed. The hardest part is waiting overnight for it to be ready but as long as you plan ahead and make it the night before, all you got to do is wake up, open the fridge, and breakfast is ready!

HERE ARE THE INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:

  • old-fashioned rolled oats
  • milk of choice (almond, oat, 2% milk)
  • brown sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • cinnamon

Just combine all the ingredients in a jar or any container you have, seal it up, and pop in the fridge to thicken up overnight. If you can’t wait overnight, wait at least four hours or until the oats have soaked up most of the milk. Depending on how thin or thick you like the overnight oats, feel free to adjust the amount of milk accordingly.

For a boost of protein, you can also add either of the following:

  • greek yogurt
  • protein powder
  • collagen peptides

For extra fiber, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of chia seeds!

The next morning when the oats are ready, just take out of the fridge and you can add a dash of cinnamon and sweet cream cheese glaze if you’d like to make it look just like a cinnamon roll! You just need to combine room temperature cream cheese, unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and milk and that’s it.
