Prep Time5 minutes
Total Time10 minutes
Yields3 to 4 cups
Servings3 to 4 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons granulated white sugar
  • pinch of salt, optional

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the whole milk, bananas, vanilla extract, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and well combined.
  3. Place a cheese cloth over a large bowl or pitcher and pour the blended mixture through the cloth to strain it. This will ensure a silky texture by removing any banana pulp.
  4. Transfer the strained banana milk to a jug or container and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Give the banana milk a good stir before pouring it into glasses. Enjoy it on its own or in some coffee or matcha!

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sugar to your taste and experiment with different types of milk or add a sprinkle of cinnamon for a little extra flavor.
