Wingstop's famous Cajun Fried Corn but let's make it at home and even better! It's the easiest appetizer you can make that takes corn on the cob to levels unthinkable!
4corn on the cobs, cut into 4 sections each (1 to 1.5 inches thick)
1/2cupunsalted butter, melted
1tablespoonchopped parsley
2teaspoonsminced garlic
2teaspoonscajun seasoning
1/4teaspoonsalt, add more to taste
1/4teaspoonblack pepper
1/2teaspoononion powder
1/2teaspoondried basil
1teaspoonpaprika
1tablespoonlemon juice, optional
vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
To a bowl, add melted butter, parsley, garlic, cajun seasoning, salt, black pepper, onion powder, dried basil, paprika, and lemon juice. Mix together well and set aside.
Cut each corn on the cob into around 4 sections. Each piece should be about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F.
Add the corn in, making sure not to overcrowd them. Fry until golden on one side and then flip over to get the other side golden.
Remove from the oil and drain any excess oil to transfer in a large bowl.
Add the seasoned butter to the bowl and toss all together.
Serve with ranch and parmesan to enjoy!
Notes
Cajun seasoning has salt already so add salt as needed depending on the cajun blend you use because every single one will be different.
