Tiramisu Overnight Oats

Nothing says good morning like a delicious cup of coffee, that is until you’ve tried tiramisu overnight oats! It’s your caffeine fix, breakfast, and a sweet tooth cure all in one. If tiramisu is your favorite dessert, you’re going to go crazy for this recipe. So yes you can now have dessert for breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 1/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon espresso powder
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • vanilla yogurt
  • cocoa powder, to dust on top

Instructions 

  1. In a bowl, combine the oats with milk, espresso powder, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix together really well.
  2. Place in an air tight container and store in the fridge to soak and thicken overnight or at least 3 to 4 hours if you can't wait that long.
  3. The next morning, layer with vanilla yogurt and dust with cocoa powder to enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to add more or less maple syrup depending on how sweet you like your overnight oats.
  • Old fashioned rolled oats are the best for overnight oats! They soak the best.
