Ingredients

MACERATED STRAWBERRIES

  • 1 cup strawberries diced
  • 1/3 cup granulated white sugar

MATCHA OATS

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/3 cup milk of choice, 1 1/4 cup for very thick consistency
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla paste or vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

OTHER

  • vanilla yogurt optional

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the diced strawberries with the white sugar. Mix together and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  2. To another bowl, combine the oats with milk, matcha, vanilla, and maple syrup. Mix together really well.
  3. To jars, add a layer of the strawberries on the bottom, then vanilla yogurt if using, and finally the vanilla matcha oats on top.
  4. Pop in the fridge to soak and thicken overnight or at least 3 to 4 hours if you can't wait that long. Enjoy the next morning!

Notes

  • You can either layer it all up and then pop in the fridge or just put the oats layer in the fridge and then layer the next morning! Either way is fine.
