Ingredients

FRENCH TOAST MATCHA

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon, adjust to taste
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 3/4 cup to 1 cup warm water

COLD FOAM

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla syrup
  • 1/3 cup low-fat 2% milk

Instructions

MAKE THE COLD FOAM

  1. In a bowl, jar, or measuring cup, add the heavy cream, vanilla syrup, and low fat milk.
  2. Whisk together until it thickens up. Use an electric whisk for the fastest results, otherwise it can take some time.

MAKE THE FRENCH TOAST MATCHA

  1. Add the matcha to a small bowl and 2 tablespoons of warm water and whisk until there are no more clumps and it's completely smooth. Add the rest of the water and whisk again until smooth. Pop in the fridge for a few minutes to cool down.
  2. To make the french toast flavored milk, combine whole milk, maple syrup, and cinnamon by whisking together.
  3. To a cup, add ice to the bottom, the French toast milk, the matcha, and then finish off with the cold foam on top.
