Hey friends! My Name
Is
Hajar And Welcome To Moribyan!
I’m so happy you’re here!
Food has been my love language for as long as I can remember. Not the fancy, complicated kind but the one that shows up as a pot simmering on the stove, a table that’s a little too full, and leftovers packed up for you before you even asked. If I love you, you’re eating well.
These days, you’ll find me deep in recipe testing (usually with lots of butter), chasing down the best bakeries, roaming the aisles of every grocery store, and getting a little too excited about a new ingredient I just discovered.
So pull up a seat. Grab a spoon. Let’s cook something good and comforting together.

Wondering Where The Name Moribyan Comes From?
MOR:
Moroccan
IBYAN:
Libyan
It’s a hybrid of my two nationalities – Moroccan and Libyan. My mother is actually Moroccan and my father is Libyan so combine the two and you get MOR-IBYAN. North African cuisine heavily influences my style of cooking and I owe everything to my parents so there was no better name. All credit goes to my husband for helping me create the name!
